Job Title: Engineer / Senior Engineer – Solutions
Location: Delhi
Industry: Renewable Energy (Solar)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer / Senior Engineer – Solutions with a strong
background in solar PV systems and solution engineering. This role will support the technical
sales function by crafting optimized solar inverter solutions supporting bidding processes and
engaging with key stakeholders including utility-scale developers EPCs and IPPs.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of solar plant design and optimization
experience in solution selling and the ability to align technical offerings with strategic business
objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze the solar market and recommend technical strategies aligned with business
goals and product capabilities.
• Evaluate trends in the solar inverter space and competitor strategies from a solutions
perspective.
• Engage with customers to verify technical requirements and develop optimized
solutions.
• Support project bids by preparing BoMs and conducting detailed LCOE studies for
competitive analysis.
• Collaborate with account managers to communicate the business and technical value of
string inverter solutions.
• Provide technical support to ecosystem partners including distributors and
implementation partners.
• Assist in the development of tender responses proposals and sales documents with a
focus on product fit solution design and ROI justification.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the solar PV industry preferably in technical sales
solution engineering or design roles.
• Strong understanding of solar power plant design and optimization especially for the
Indian market.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (mandatory).
• Proficiency in design and simulation tools such as PVsyst PVsol and AutoCAD.
• In-depth knowledge of string inverters PV systems and their commercial benefits
(LCOE/ROI).
• Strong presentation and communication skills for customer-facing engagements.
• Comfortable working in a target-driven cross-cultural environment.
Preferred Attributes
• Previous experience working with utility-scale developers EPCs or IPP clients.
• Strong network within the Indian solar energy sector.
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to drive technical strategy in a competitive
landscape.
