IMPORTANT: Shift Hours for This Role Are 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday to Friday
This is a key requirement for the position and applicants must be available to work during these hours.
Flexibility is key to this role as occasional variations for site visits or urgent support needs may arise outside standard shift times.
Main Purpose of the Role:
The Queensland Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the State Manager and Operations Managers with the planning organisation and delivery of high-quality cleaning services to clients across the portfolio. This role ensures that operational standards and compliance requirements are consistently met while actively contributing to team performance efficiency and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Back up Emergency Cleaner to achieve 0% missed cleans company vision.
- Manage and fill Sick and Holiday relief cleans.
- Assist and manage Payroll rosters and reducing/meeting of budgets.
- Complete onboarding and initial training for cleaning crew during new site acquisitions as well as ongoing upskilling of current crew focused on operational excellence.
- Champion and Manage the Cleanworks new All Star Training Academy ensuring every cleaner is an All Star Crew member with adequate support and training.
- Conduct Toolbox talks across the portfolio were directed
- Always assist with periodical cleaning
- Assist in the mobilisation and smooth execution of new client contracts.
- Ensure all cleaning crews comply with company uniform and presentation standards.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements across all sites.
- Complete general administrative tasks and provide operational support to the Operations Managers as required.
- Contribute to staff recruitment training motivation and fostering a positive team culture.
- Use and manage rostering software such as Timegate (or equivalent) to support effective staff scheduling and shift planning.
- The above duties are not limited to and the role requires you to contribute to the below responsibilities from time to time.
- Support the preparation of quotes and proposals for new business opportunities.
- Conduct and coordinate Quality Assurance (QA) checks in line with client contracts and internal service benchmarks.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 1yr Cleaning Experience.
- Certificate 111 in Cleaning (desirable)
- Proven experience in an operations or leading hand role ideally within the cleaning industry
- Working knowledge of workforce rostering systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail with a proactive solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to maintain and enforce grooming and presentation standards
- Solid understanding of WHS regulations and the ability to implement and monitor compliance
- A collaborative and innovative team player with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems
- Valid driver s licence with flexibility to travel across Brisbane and South East Queensland
- Flexibility in approach and working style with a willingness to adapt to changing operational needs
