Position Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Logistics and Warehouse Manager to lead and optimize our logistics, material handling, and warehousing operations at the Alwar Plant. The role demands a strong background in logistics planning, inventory control, team management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and cost-effective movement and storage of materials.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead all plant logistics and warehousing operations including inbound, outbound, internal movements, and inventory.
Develop and implement robust logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Oversee and manage warehouse layout, space utilization, and inventory accuracy.
Monitor and improve key KPIs such as OTIF (On Time In Full), warehouse utilization, stock accuracy, cycle count performance, etc.
Coordinate with procurement, production planning, quality, and dispatch teams for seamless operations.
Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and compliance with policies and statutory regulations.
Maintain strong vendor and logistics partner relationships; evaluate and onboard 3PL partners if needed.
Implement lean practices, 5S, and digital tools to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance across all logistics and warehousing activities.
Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse supervisors, material handlers, and logistics staff.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. MBA/PGDM in Operations will be an added advantage.
10-12 years of relevant experience in logistics and warehouse management, preferably in heavy engineering, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems related to logistics and inventory management.
Experience with lean warehousing practices, automation tools, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Knowledge of transportation laws, import/export regulations, and documentation practices.
