Our Organization is thrilled to present a brand-new and captivating opportunity for a full-time school psychologist for the upcoming academic school year.
The School Psychologists will support students academic social and emotional well-being. In this role you will conduct assessments provide counseling and collaborate with educators families and support staff to foster a positive learning environment.
Duties Description:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing various challenges.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students academic social and emotional needs.
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Stay updated on best practices and research in the field of school psychology to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor students progress and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure their continued growth and development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students progress and develop comprehensive support plans.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students academic success.
Requirements
We welcome applications from recent graduates who are eager to begin their careers in school psychology. Candidates must hold an active school psychology license issued by the Illinois Board of Psychology. While certification from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) is preferred it is not required. Applicants should possess a Master s degree or higher in educational psychology or a closely related field.
