About the Role: As a Web & Automation Intern at Golf VX youll support the core digital infrastructure powering our indoor golf simulator business. Youll help manage websites implement automations and work directly with leadership and contractors to improve system performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- WordPress Website Management
- Update and maintain content across WordPress sites.
- Test new features and flag performance or UX issues.
- Assist with cross-device optimization SEO audits and accessibility improvements.
- Automation & No-Code Systems
- Build and refine automations across CRM forms and lead intake systems.
- Maintain integrations between tools like Make and franchise systems.
- Troubleshoot broken workflows and propose better backend logic.
- Digital Infrastructure Projects
- Audit and map existing digital workflows.
- Write documentation and SOPs used by internal teams and franchisees.
- Work directly with developers data teams and marketing to push digital projects forward.
- Platform Support & Scaling
- Help develop platforms that support our franchise and simulator sales
- Coordinate feedback loops with external contractors.
- Participate in internal QA for new system launches.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in digital platforms automation and data-driven problem solving
- Comfortable navigating multiple tools and learning new systems quickly
- Excellent communication organization and time management skills
- Proactive mindset with the ability to manage projects independently and in teams
- Detail-oriented and capable of balancing both technical tasks and big-picture thinking
Preferred (not required):
- Experience with WordPress (editing testing or managing updates)
- Familiarity with CRM tools like or HubSpot
- Exposure to Zapier or other automation tools
- Basic understanding of dashboards like Power BI or Looker Studio
- Golf familiarity (played worked at a course or general interest)
