Job Description
Pine Lake Prep a top rated North Carolina public charter schoolhas an immediate opening for an enthusiastic and highly engaged Lower School Teacher (K-5). The Lower School Teacher should be motivated dynamic organized and have the ability to work in diverse teams.
Essential functions of the position include:
- Provide high quality instruction to assist students in reaching their full academic potential
- Plan prepare and deliver appropriate lessons using a variety of presentation methods to keep students engaged.
- Create an environment of respect and rapport that fosters a positive climate for learning equity and excellence.
- Promote student learning by providing responsive instruction that makes use of effective communication techniques instructional strategies that actively engage students in the learning process and timely high-qualify feedback.
- Fulfill professional roles and responsibilities and adhere to legal and ethical requirements of the profession.
Desirable applicants will hold a B.A./B.S. degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field teaching. The candidate will be required to uphold standards set by the NC Department of Public Instruction.
