Duties
Are you the next mental health provider Join the Wilder Day Treatment Team! We are a diverse team that provides collaborative mental health services Mon.-Fri. to a small caseload of children aged 6-12 years. Services are provided on site and occasionally in homes and the community. The children and families we serve are diverse and we are committed to providing services in ways that creatively and meaningfully meet whole-child and whole-family needs. We are looking for a BA Mental Health Practitioner to provide skill development and training in our day treatment setting by ensuring childrens emotional social and physical needs are met structuring a safe environment and developing nurturing positive relationships. The Day Treatment BA Mental Health Practitioner contributes to the overall therapeutic program through peer mentoring daily planning group facilitation communication with the treatment team school contact and transporting clients in agency vehicles. Wilder is a learning organization committed to the development of each team member so ongoing professional training and supervision by a Mental Health Professional is provided.
Wilder is a first-implementer Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). As part of this innovative model of mental health care you will collaborate closely with other service partners in ensuring coordinated integrated care for clients and their families. Bachelors degree in one of the behavioral sciences required (Social Work Psychology Counseling or other related fields). 1 year work experience with diverse families and children with special needs and/or mental health diagnosis. Proficiency in use of electronic health records system. Must have MN drivers license and meet Wilder Foundation driver requirements. Certified First Aid/CPR preferred.
