Kalman & Company is seeking a highly motivated performance-driven individual with strong business and cost analysis experience to work closely with our Government client in Orlando FL. This is an on-site position. This person needs to be based in the local area. Successful candidates will have excellent communication quantitative research and analytical skills and the capability to lead or principally contribute to several of the largest and most significant studies in Kalmans portfolio. Financial management program management and data science experience are also preferred.

The Business Analyst position will include but not be limited to the following capabilities:
Lead and manage program office analysis activities:
Lead develop update and apply mathematical and logical methodologies for estimating program business system or component costs.
Lead develop update manipulate and maintain cost and affordability models
Lead efforts in collecting normalizing and analyzing complex data
Build and defend budget requirements
Forecast future funding needs
Evaluate contracting strategy and courses of action
Conduct planning for acquisition of capabilities
Identify sustainment cost impacts of acquisition decisions
Identify interface maintenance funding requirements for all affected platforms/systems
Manage solution delivery to a baselined schedule
Provide a basis and supporting materials for briefings to management at the executive and oversight levels for all affected program/project funding requirements
Work autonomously and as part of a team to meet organizational and project goals
Have a strong understanding of the Department of Navy (DoN) Acquisition process
Lead in the preparation of briefing materials and other communications packages presenting the results of analysis
Communicate and work with diverse organizations and representatives for data collection analysis and results presentation
Provide thought leadership clearly demonstrating an understanding of the customer mission and innovative ideas to address business challenges of the customer
