Job Description

Provide 3rd 4th and 5th students with content area lessons that will build on the students educational foundation and reinforce general education skills in the classroom while instilling and refining quality character skills that will allow them to be productive citizens of our : Bachelors degree in education from an accredited university Must possess a valid Texas teaching certificate Demonstrate competency in core academic subject area assigned GT Certification (preferred)General Expectations: Develop lesson plans that are aligned with grade level TEKS Provide appropriate grade-level curriculum aligned with grade-level TEKS. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the learning styles of students Track and evaluate student progress Ability to establish and maintain a well-managed risk-free and nurturing classroom environment Consistent communication with parents about academic concerns and behavior Ability to work effectively and maintain positive relationships with administrators colleagues office staff students parents and community Continuous growth and development in grade-level content area Desire to seek advice when needed to make informed decisions Attend meetings conferences and professional development trainings as required Model and instruct positive character traits Arrive on-time to school and assigned duties Provide enrichment opportunities for students in the GT and background check form can be found at Please send resume application and background check form to
