Your application will be considered for a position working in any currently available Back of the House Dining Services position at Utah State University including roles in The Hub Cafes Convenience Stores Bakery Catering and Residential Dining Halls. Location of hire will be determined after the final interview; request for specific locations may be considered. Positions range from Prep Chef to Dishwashers Janitors and more!

USU Dining is looking for dedicated and service-oriented individuals who will contribute to Creating an Excellent College Experience and deliver quality service to all our customers. We seek candidates who are eager to go the extra mile and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

As a Dining Services employee working in a Back of the House position you will be assigned a variety of duties which may include:

• Support food prep tasks like chopping and portioning ingredients
• Wash dishes and sanitize kitchen equipment and surfaces
• Restock supplies and assist with general kitchen duties
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications:

• Food handlers permit is required within the first 30 days of employment
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to perform physical tasks (standing lifting cleaning)
• Basic understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene (or willingness to learn)
• Dependable punctual and detail-oriented
• No prior experience requiredtraining provided

Employees work indoors in a climate-controlled environment to protect from weather and/or contaminants but may experience occasional temperature changes.

This position requires moderate physical activity including handling objects up to 25 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods.
