About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CEO youll provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all adult programs. This isnt just a management role; its about pioneering continuous improvement championing an inclusive environment and ensuring every decision contributes to meaningful outcomes and a positive experience for both participants and employees.

Youll have significant decision-making authority across:

  • Service Delivery and Business Operations: Ensuring best practices in person-centred care for a diverse range of disabilities.

  • Financial Management: Full profit and loss accountability driving financial sustainability and growth.

  • Audit and Compliance: Leading adherence to regulatory requirements and fostering a culture of compliance.

  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating operational financial and reputational risks.

  • Business Development: Evaluating and seizing new opportunities for sustainable growth.

  • People Management: Fostering a high-performing engaged and diverse workforce.

What Youll Bring

Were looking for a leader with:

  • Knowledge of best practices in person-centred care for adults with diverse disabilities including physical intellectual and psychosocial needs.

  • An understanding of the NDIS framework funding models and quality standards.

  • Proven business development skills to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities within the NDIS landscape.

  • Exceptional presentation and communication abilities to articulate Westhavens vision and value proposition.

  • Strong influencing skills to build consensus and drive strategic initiatives.

  • A track record in leading mentoring and developing high-performing teams within an NDIS context fostering a positive and collaborative culture.

  • The capacity to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans focusing on measurable outcomes financial sustainability and quality service delivery.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with all stakeholders participants families NDIA and partners.

  • Proven experience in management and leadership within the community or public sector with significant service delivery.

  • A demonstrated business improvement focus through innovative systems and technology.

Your Essential Compliance
  • Current valid NSW Drivers licence.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC).
