Job Description
We are thrilled to announce amajor contract win with Yorkshire Water supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond!
We are currently recruiting for a Jetting Assistantto join our team delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across the BradfordAreaYorkshire Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.
Due to a contract win we are looking for applicants all around the Yorkshire Regions
Working Hours & Location
- Location: Bradford
- Hours: 7am - 5pm (flexibility is required)
About the Role
As a Jetting Assistant you will:
- Assist the jetting operator in setting up and operating high-pressure water jetting equipment
- Help clear Blockages
- Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work.
- Report any issues or hazards by following company procedures
- Assist with inspections & identify possible blockages leaks etc
- Managing materials and supplies
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Wearing and maintaining in good condition any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection and bringing to your supervisors attention any defects or shortcomings with the equipment.
Experience and Qualifications:(Desirable but not essential unless stated as required)
- Full UK driving license
- Water Jetting Association Red or blue book
- Banksman
- Manual Handling
- Emergency First Aid
- NRSWA
- EUSR National Water Hygiene
- Medium risk confined space
Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
