We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Service Manager to lead our service department. The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service operation ensuring efficient workflow maximizing customer satisfaction and achieving departmental profitability goals. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills a deep understanding of automotive service and a commitment to excellence.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous automotive experience is REQUIRED for this position. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of managing technicians and service advisors demonstrate an ability to run an efficient and productive service department and show through their work history an ability to generate sales with high customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who works hard communicates clearly and is interested in a real career with long term potential not just a job.

- Hire train develop and motivate the service department staff and monitor their performance.
- Develop and monitor budgets for the service department and keep dealership management informed of variances.
- Ensure that the service department meets all customer satisfaction (CSI) and financial goals.
- Forecast goals and objectives for the department and ensure they are met.
- Ensure that common courtesy is shown to all customers by every service department employee to promote customer satisfaction.
- Schedule training as necessary to properly repair and service vehicles.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company s Values in all interactions with customers coworkers and vendors.
- Understand and comply with federal state and local regulations that affect service department operations such as hazardous waste disposal OSHA righttoknow etc.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a valid driver s license with an acceptable driving record according to dealership standards College graduate with a background or concentration in business management or marketing a plus At least one year in a dealership sales management position. Professional personal appearance Ability to remain calm while diffusing touchy situations At least two years experience in a dealership sales environment. Must be comfortable managing multiple departments and people. Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors Must be able to work extended hours, evenings and weekends
