Job Description
The Program Manager will ensure successful and timely execution of technical programs across multiple teams in multiple locations and throughout the full system development life cycle working closely with IT and business partners. The role will align to Information Technology PMO. The successful candidate will work closely with IT Leadership to deliver projects within the IT Portfolio.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Tracking & Reporting Monitor project status track technical issues and provide clear and effective reporting on milestones deliverables expectations dependencies risks mitigation plans escalations and overall progress.
- Coaching and support project team to follow PMO processes and procedures to support on time quality and scope goals.
- Stakeholder Communication & Issue Management Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders addressing projectrelated concerns and ensuring alignment on integration and deployment efforts.
- Program Governance & Best Practices Drive program integrity and coherence by maintaining an effective environment within PMO establishing programrelated practices templates policies tools and partnerships to improve organizational capabilities.
- EndtoEnd Project Lifecycle Management Take full ownership of the project lifecycle from demo and field trials to integration planning and deployment ensuring smooth execution across all phases.
- Independent Project Execution & Collaboration Work autonomously to manage daily project activities maintain collaboration forums and track overall program success criteria through performance metrics and reports.
- Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement Develop and maintain standardized processes for project execution leveraging best practices from PMO to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Project Documentation & Compliance Create and maintain project documentation ensuring adherence to both standard and internal processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (BA or BS) in business administration computer science engineering medical technology or related field of study
- 13 years experience in IT project management program management or portfolio management roles
Other Attributes:
- Effective written and oral communications in English
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Commercial medical device or manufacturing program management experience
- 12 years experience in Agile project methodologies
- An ability to build models and analyze costs risks timelines metrics etc. using Excel.
