JOB PURPOSE:
Perform analytical duties auditing of accounts and facilitating various payroll wage verification check and advice distribution process documentation and file maintenance. Facilitating various union benefit verification check and advise distribution of union benefits processing documentation and file maintenance. Think broadly about process improvement for all areas of accounting within a dynamic organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Certifications
Required:High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:Bachelors degree from accredited university in accounting finance business management or related field.
Experience
Required:4 years payroll and/or accountingrelated experience in a fastpaced multistate organization. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred:Union construction experience.
Functional / Technical Competency Requirements:
Required:Proficient with computer software specifically Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Outlook). Clear tactful written and oral communication with all levels of the organization and outside customers as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality in handling employees personal data. Great team player with a positive attitude within team and with internal customers. Ability to learn various financial and payroll systems and/or Web portals including inhouse payroll software. Exceptionally detail oriented. Analytical thinking; able to create dataheavy reports see patterns and find solutions.
Preferred:Working knowledge of AS400 financial system or other payroll processing system.
