Job Description
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a similar related field mandatory
- Proven experience in a production supervisory role.
- Level 2 NACE certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in sandblasting operations and scaffolding.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and solve problems efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Monitor production processes identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Quality Assurance
- Enforce quality control measures to ensure adherence to industry standards and specifications.
- Conduct inspections to verify that products meet the required quality standards.
- Safety Compliance
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for production staff.
- Personnel Management
- Lead motivate and mentor production team members to achieve optimal performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Technical Expertise
- Possess Level 2 NACE certification for coatings inspection.
- Demonstrate proficiency in sandblasting techniques and equipment operation.
- Prior experience with scaffolding procedures and safety protocols.
- Liaise with other departments to coordinate production schedules and resolve any issues.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and management.
