Country Manager Botswana
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Marketing or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in the FMCG industry with a strong track record in managing large teams.
- Extensive routetomarket experience particularly within Botswana demonstrating a deep understanding of local market dynamics.
- Strong financial acumen with handson experience in profit and loss management cost control and cash management.
- Excellent commercial and strategic thinking abilities with a demonstrated ability to drive business growth and profitability.
- Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the country strategy aligned with overall corporate goals focusing on market penetration growth and profitability.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial performance including cost control profitability and effective cash management. Influence financial results through strategic decisionmaking and operational efficiency.
- Team Management: Lead mentor and manage a large team to ensure high performance engagement and achievement of business objectives.
- Sales and Distribution: Manage and optimize sales and distribution channels to ensure effective market reach and customer satisfaction.
- Commercial Expertise: Apply strong commercial experience to drive business development and operational improvements.
- Market Insights: Utilize a deep understanding of the Botswana market to identify opportunities anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to company policies industry regulations and best practices.
