Job Description
CNC Operator
- Review job packets for setups and job specific information
- Prepare the machine for the each job
- Follow programs and verify accuracy through either a test run (if possible) or verifying accuracy as job is being worked on
- Continually monitor job and ensure accuracy and speeds
- Maintain records and document any issues
- Continually improve the process by finding documenting and implementing (both independently and with the help of the team)
- Maintain a safe clean working environment
- Make management aware of any issues with the machine or consumables
General Skills
- Ability to load and execute CNC programs.
- Able to read blueprints (preferred)
- Proficient in math (algebra geometry etc.)
- Attention to detail
- Adhere to Safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Mechanical ability
- Ideally 1 year of experience or trade school (but not required)
