Job Description
The goal of the Migrant Education Program is to ensure that all migrant students reach challenging academic standards and graduate with a high school diploma (or complete a GED) that prepares them for responsible citizenship further learning and productive employment.

- This is a temporary position beginning 6/18/15 and ending 7/22/25.
- We are a seeking bilingual and/or multicultural Site Supervisor.
- Applicants must be able to be available throughout the duration of the assignment.
- Total hours will not exceed 215 hours.
- Some evening work is required.
JOB TITLE: SITE SUPERVISOR
REPORTS TO: Program Manager/Supervisor
POSITION PURPOSE: Manage the overall school program at a school site.
NATURE & SCOPE: This position is subject to board policies administrative rules and procedures department regulations and applicable state and federal statutes. This position carries no administrative authority or responsibility.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Implements the school schedule and program.
- Supervises noncertified temporary staff.
- Provides training direction feedback verbal and written evaluations to temporary staff.
- Maintains communication with Program Manager/Supervisor by keeping the Program Manager/Supervisor informed in a timely manner regarding problems issues and concerns.
- Conducts orientation visits for students parents and District Personnel.
- Supervises program participants and High School Student Leaders.
- Supervises and performs food serving functions at meals and at other times as needed. 8. Works cooperatively with site owners and caretakers.
- Confers with teachers and other District Personnel as needed.
- Communicates with others utilizing appropriate verbal and nonverbal interaction.
- Follows policies of District and procedures of the school program.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Program Manager/Supervisor which are indicated to assure the physical and emotional wellbeing of students.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provides backup support to other staff as requested.
- Attends department and other staff meetings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Valid Drivers License and vehicle available for use on the job.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
One year paid experience working with children and/or adolescents in an educational or recreational setting. One year paid experience supervising in a professional setting. College coursework or experience in the area of science and/or education. Desired TSPC license though not required. Preferred experience with socialemotional learning data collection and/or assessment.
