Sonographer
Job Description
The Staff Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasounds and other required modalities independently under physician supervision and with peer collaboration as needed. This role includes mentoring and educating all levels of staff while maintaining the necessary credentials and experience for the position.
Requirements
Required Qualifications (MustHaves)
- Advanced Certification ARDMS OB/GYN Certified
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic Sonography program
- Minimum of 6 months scanning experience outside of clinicals including OB/GYN
Preferred Qualifications (NiceToHaves)
- MaternalFetal Medicine (MFM) Experience preferred
- Strong team player mentality
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to critically think while scanning
