Job Description
Job Title: Research and Development (R&D) Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and innovative Research and Development (R&D) Specialist to join our team. The R&D Specialist will be responsible for developing new products improving existing processes or products and contributing to the companys innovation strategy. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker problemsolver and has a strong background in scientific research and product development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research to develop new products technologies or processes.
Design and execute experiments analyze results and report findings.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (e.g. engineering marketing quality assurance) to bring products from concept to launch.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform development strategies.
Improve and optimize current products or processes based on feedback testing or costefficiency.
Prepare technical documentation including reports presentations and regulatory submissions if needed.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Assist in intellectual property development and patent documentation where applicable.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering Chemistry Biology Computer Science).
2 years of experience in a research or product development role (may vary by seniority).
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in lab techniques data analysis tools or R&D software (industryspecific).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications (optional):
Ph.D. or advanced degree in a specialized area.
Experience with regulatory environments (e.g. FDA ISO GMP).
Project management experience.
