Job Description
The Mentorship Coordinator for the Full Spectrum Learning ( FSL ) Program at Austin Peay State University ( APSU ) oversees and enhances the programs peer and faculty mentoring components. This position plays a vital role in student case management social and wellness programming and mentoring curriculum development. The coordinator ensures datainformed tracking of mentorship activity and facilitates alignment between mentoring supports and students classroom experiences. This role requires strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills to maintain accurate documentation develop resources and foster collaborative relationships with campus departments and community mental health partners. The Mentorship Coordinator supervises peer mentors and GRAs engages faculty mentors monitors program outcomes and supports transition programming from high school to college. The position also supports event planning family engagement and professional development coordination. The Mentorship Coordinator reports to the Director of FSL and collaborates closely with other program coordinators and university stakeholders. Austin Peay State University is a fouryear public doctorallevel university with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence. The University has an enrollment of over 10000 students and is located in Clarksville Tennessee a community of an estimated 180000 people located approximately 40 miles northwest of Nashville TN.
