Job Description
The Aftercare Aide supervises students who stay after schooluntil parents can pick them up. They are responsible for providing after school support to students in Grades Prek8. The Aftercare Aide is a responsible individual whose duties include but are not limited to:
1) Signing students in and out
2) Creating stations for students to play games or with toys
3) Providing time for students to work on homework
4) Providing a snack to students
5) Providing time for students to be physically active
6) Complete incident reports for issues that arise and report to School Administration
7) Communicate with parents when necessary
Additionally the Aftercare Aide is expected to:
1) Support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.
2) Act as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church.
3) Support and adhere to the Code of Conduct and policies and procedures of the school and Diocese.
4) Abide by the Confidentiality Policy set forth in the Diocese Handbook
5) Understand accept and abide by the Schools philosophy and mission statement in all his/her school activities.
6) Consistently exhibit high standards of professional conduct.
