Production Operative
Salary: 12.21 per hour
Location: Eastfield Glasgow G72 area
Hours: 37 per week; Monday to Thursday 8am 4:30pm & Friday 8am 1pm
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Full Time Permanent
Syntech Recruitment are proud to partner with a high precision component manufacturer who produce complex parts for a variety of regulated industries. We are searching for multiple production operatives to join their team based near Eastfield Glasgow G72 area.
Full training provided anyone with a background in engineering or manufacturing would be ideal.

Production Operative Responsibilities: On the job training
- Produce components in line with production schedules meeting agreed delivery targets while maintaining costefficiency.
- Complete job cards accurately recording all relevant process details for traceability and quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area performing basic housekeeping and adhering to 5S principles at all times.
- Report equipment faults promptly to the maintenance team to minimise downtime.
- Record and manage workrelated data ensuring accurate documentation across all stages of production.
- Pack finished goods securely using appropriate protective materials to ensure product integrity during transit.
- Support colleagues including mentoring new team members as part of onboarding and team development.
Production Operative Requirements:
- Demonstrable examples of dexterity
- Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components (desirable)
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S
