Job Description
Job Title: CKAD Kubernetes Application Developer with DevOps Experience
Location: Mumbai
Job Type: Fulltime
Experience Level: 3 years
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) with strong DevOps experience to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for designing deploying and managing containerized applications in Kubernetes environments with a focus on ensuring smooth CI/CD processes and system scalability. Your experience with Kubernetes and DevOps will be key to helping us optimize application deployment and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins GitLab CI or similar tools.
- Ensure seamless integration of Kubernetes applications with cloudnative services.
- Work with the DevOps team to automate infrastructure provisioning configuration management and deployment processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to Kubernetes clusters and deployed applications.
- Maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Ensure high availability and scalability of applications deployed in Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve application lifecycle management and security.
- Follow best practices in container orchestration application scaling and resource management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in DevOps roles with handson experience in Kubernetes and containerization.
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI Travis CI).
- Solid experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Experience in cloud environments such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash Python or Go.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana).
- Good understanding of networking storage and security in Kubernetes environments.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes operators.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
- Knowledge of service meshes like Istio.
