Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Consultant to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in designing developing and implementing MDG solutions for our clients focusing on data governance best practices and leveraging the power of S/4HANA. This role requires a deep understanding of master data concepts strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement SAP MDG solutions within the S/4HANA environment.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Configure and customize MDG components including data modeling workflows validations and UI configurations.
- Develop and maintain BRF rule frameworks for data quality and governance processes.
- Perform data migration and cleansing activities.
- Conduct testing and ensure the quality of delivered solutions.
- Provide support and training to endusers.
- Stay uptodate with the latest SAP MDG advancements and best practices.
- Contribute to project planning and .
- Collaborate effectively with other team members including functional consultants developers and project managers.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to master data governance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of Number years of experience in SAP MDG implementation and support.
- Proven experience in at least one of the following master data domains: Customer Material Finance or Vendor.
- Strong understanding of SAP MDG architecture and functionality.
- Proficiency in data modeling workflow configuration and UI customization within MDG.
- Handson experience with BRF rule framework development.
- Experience with data migration and cleansing tools and techniques.
- Solid understanding of S/4HANA and its integration with MDG.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with business users and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- SAP MDG certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP Data Services or other data integration tools.
- Knowledge of SAP ABAP development.
- Experience in Agile project methodologies.
- Experience with specific industry solutions (e.g. Retail Manufacturing).
