Guardteck Security is looking for Casual Security Officers for Vancouver BC.
What you should have:
- Flexible availability
- Valid British Columbia Basic Security Training
- Advanced Security Training (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Valid OFA Level 1
- Minimum 1 year of experience in security and customer service
- Minimum 6 months security experience working alone; comfortable working alone
- Must be confident in verbal conflict deescalation
- Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
- Able to complete highquality reports
- Strong customer service skills; friendly accommodating but assertive and steadfast when it comes to rules enforcement for both Occupants and People of Interest encountered around the building.
- Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined honest and ethical manner
- Able to patrol and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to follow procedures and set routines effectively
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Experience working in a Commercial or Residential office tower preferred
This job reports to the Manager
This is a Full and PartTime position1st Shift 2nd Shift 3rd Shift.
