Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- 18.00 hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 40 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
Full time nonbenefited temporary summer months position in Dr. Asthanas computational research lab.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Developing/testing quantum algorithms for applications in chemistry
- Write results in scientific publications under supervision
- Communicate results in group meetings/conferences
Required Competencies
- Proficient in python programming
- Strong background in linear algebra
- Strong background in physics and physical chemistry concepts
Minimum Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemistry Physics Computer science or related fields
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
