Are you ready to be the driving force behind seamless logistics and planning activities As our PlantVendorPlanner youll be the key point of contact between crossfunctional teams and stakeholders ensuring materials are scheduled evaluated and delivered accurately and on time every time. Your agility and problemsolving skills will help meet customer demands resolve escalations achieve metrics and improve processes while driving inventory targets.
What Youll Do:
Supply Planning
- Track and trace material flows as part of the Site Supply Chain.
- Manage MRP runs and planning activities for local suppliers.
- Handle COPQ activities OTTR & OPD approvals/rejections for locally planned suppliers.
- Oversee premium freights for locally managed suppliers.
- Verify quantities received against schedules and shipping documents.
- Coordinate with Logistics Production and Quality departments to ensure accurate material information in SAP and O9.
- Be the point of contact for the first 2 weeks of CTB (Clear to Build).
- Act as the link between planning (MPS planners) and the regional team.
- Collaborate with the Production Planner to ensure accurate material consumption and inventory accuracy.
- Verify component or raw material availability before releasing shortterm production plans.
- Notify Production Planner and Planning Leader of material situations affecting the production plan.
- Interact with GVP (Global Vendor Planner) to expedite and deexpedite parts and raw materials.
- Drive quick solutions for sudden issues like quality problems or stock inaccuracies.
Supplier Crisis Management
- Identify and resolve excess slowmoving and obsolete inventory issues.
- Assist Planning Leader in resolving shipment shortage engineering change and order cancellation problems.
- Support production transfers and the introduction of new reference points.
- Issue reports and advise management on parts flow status.
- Participate in daily logistics meetings and weekly production planning meetings.
- Utilize planning instruments like MPS MRP and O9.
- Operate in SAP and MHS according to procedures.
Supplier Development
- Perform duties as assigned by direct management.
- Act according to Garrett conduct attributes and fulfill performance objectives.
- Observe obligations and duties from management systems in production quality HS&E areas and other standards.
- Follow work rules and internal HS&E guidelines.
Health Security Environment Emergency Situations
- Perform activities safely to prevent accidents and illnesses.
- Minimize environmental pollution.
- Report accidents and participate in HSE trainings and medical examinations.
- Cooperate with employer and assigned workers to ensure a safe work environment.
- Actively participate in emergency situations as required.
- Monitor HSE targets and ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure HSE rules and regulations are followed by direct reports.
- Implement HSE legal and corporate requirements.
- Identify and assess risks and environmental aspects.
What We Need:
- Experience:Min. 2 years on Operations and Supply chain business experience. Experience in working with customer suppliers sales or logistics in the automotive industry as preferable
- Education:Bachelors degree preferably in Engineering.
- Knowledge:Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Language Skills:Advanced English proficiency.
- ERP Systems:Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
