Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Digital Product Owner (Power Platform Developer) to join our GFSO Reporting Tower Financial Services Division

This role will be based out of BangaloreWhitefield office

What you will do

The Power Platform Developer will have the opportunity to develop and support the Power Platform system solution functionality of one or more applications or business to support our Accountable Reporting transition to an Operations Center of Excellence. This role will partner with Strategy & Execution Business Manager and Senior Staff Accountant to design and develop key data visualizations for Global Finance Division. In addition to ensuring a successful reporting standardization and transition the role offers opportunity to identify and lead onboarding future processes. This position will work closely with business units across the enterprise and the Global Finance Strategy team to ensure alignment of processes for Caterpillar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Power BI Reporting & Analytics: Design develop and maintain standardized enterprisegrade dashboards and reports using Power BI and SQL to support datadriven decisionmaking.
• Power Platform Solutions Development: Build and deploy scalable solutions using Power Apps Power Automate and Power BI to automate business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Digital Operations Leadership: Provide strategic direction and daytoday oversight to the digital operations team ensuring alignment with business goals and technology standards.
• Business Requirements & Solution Validation:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements.
  • Lead the design prototyping and configuration of applications and workflows.
  • Ensure alignment of solutions with business needs and technical feasibility.
• Process & Documentation Governance:
  • Review and validate process documentation test scripts and training materials.
  • Approve test plans and oversee deployment readiness for new releases.
• Security & Compliance:
  • Define and enforce business rules and data security classifications.
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards and data protection policies.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams.
  • Represent the application/process in crossfunctional discussions and integrations.
  • Gather input from relevant stakeholders to inform solution design and improvements.
• Problem Solving & Strategic Planning:
  • Analyze complex or undefined problems develop innovative solutions and evaluate alternatives.
  • Create and execute annual action plans aligned with business priorities.
  • Provide ad hoc support and respond to evolving business needs.

What you will have

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI Power Apps Power Automate).
• Strong communication and presentation skills across diverse teams and leadership levels.
• Experience working in a matrixed global organization with crossfunctional stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of finance accounting and governance principles.
• Prior experience in FP&A or reporting roles managing complex data environments.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic uncertain and multicultural environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Data Management or a related field.
• 510 years of handson experience with Power Platform tools.
• Experience supporting global business operations and time zone coordination.

Additional Information:

• Location: Bangalore India
• Work Model: 5 days work from office
• Work Hours: Primarily aligned with European time zones with flexibility for U.S. business close support
