Job Summary Interacts directly with management and other teams throughout the company to deliver reporting solutions and projects translating numbers into common Insurance language to help the company make better business decisions. This position is responsible for analyzing business intelligence and reporting requirements and producing a range of reports dashboards and other solutions. This role will also create new reports and enhance existing ones using various business intelligence tools through information available in the data warehouse in order to deliver report solutions and reporting packages database solutions as well as maintenance of existing services and deliverables related to reporting needs.

- Works with user community to identify reporting issues/enhancements and documents business requirements in sufficient detail.
- Participates as a member of a project team and/or work independently on projects.
- Provides initial and/or followup user training as needed.
- Organizes and prepares data for customer analysis.
- Participates in crossfunctional team process improvement projects.
- Maintains strict departmental confidentiality quality and professional standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervision of Others N/A Minimum Qualifications - Bachelors Degree in CIS MIS Computer Science and 4 years of experience in related field.
- Two years of MS SQL MySQL experience
- Must possess a valid drivers license.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation. No felony theft or fraud convictions.
Additional Eligibility Requirements - New employees must complete the Associate in Insurance (AINS) designation within six months from the end of the 90day evaluation period to be eligible for advancement and incentive compensation.
- For continued employment employees must complete an elective course and six hours of professional development within 12 months after the end of the 90day evaluation period.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Experience in C# Visual Studio JavaScript CSS and current web technologies SUCH AS .NET ASP JSON and XML.
- Experience with the following technologies: SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) SSIS Reporting Power BI Dynamics CRM Dynamics GP SharePoint Excel Power Query Power Pivot.
- Insurance and financial experience desired.
- Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Knowledge of quality control practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of computer flow charts and of programming logic and codes.
- Knowledge of AMERIND products and services.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
