Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of yellow or earthmoving machinery
- Diagnose mechanical electrical and hydraulic faults efficiently
- Conduct component replacements and system overhauls as required
- Minimize equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting
- Accurately document service reports and job cards
- Source and order parts and materials for repairs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- NQF Level 6 TradeTested Mechanical Qualification or certified equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience working on yellow or earthmoving equipment
- Must have mechanical skills and knowledge to fix on TLBs Graders Dozers Front End Loaders Trucks and other heavy machineries
- Must have administrative and planning experience
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Familiarity with technical manuals and wiring diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices
- Good communication and teamwork skills
