Responsibilities:
- Draft and review estate planning documents including wills trusts advance healthcare directives and powers of attorney.
- Manage probate and estate administration cases from initiation to completion ensuring efficient and compliant handling.
- Counsel clients compassionately through complex legal decisions related to estate planning and probate processes.
- Represent clients effectively in probate litigation trust disputes and contested matters when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams including family law attorneys to provide comprehensive and coordinated legal services.
- Conduct client consultations clearly explaining legal processes and answering questions to build confidence and trust.
- Participate in community outreach and firm marketing activities to promote the probate and estate planning practice area.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in estate planning probate administration and trust law.
- Strong understanding of Arizona probate codes and estate planning practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to client relationships.
- Proven organizational skills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a teamoriented environment.
- Experience with probate litigation and contested estate matters is preferred but not required.
