Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Quality manager is a management Representative to maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) to the most recent ISO standards and oversee Quality Assurance / Quality Control including supervision of personnel internal auditing quality improvement activities as well as interaction with customers and suppliers.

General Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
- Promote quality achievement and performance improvement through the organization
- Develop implement communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the quality system and policies into compliance with ISO and all quality system requirements.
- Manage and maintain the companys quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and inprocess materials and components processes and finished goods.
- Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals objectives policies procedures and ISO standards.
- Assess the product specifications of the company and its suppliers.
- Set up and maintain control and documentation procedures.
- Liaise with ISO auditors customers auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers specifications.
- Identify relevant qualityrelated training needs.
- Analyze performance data and charts against defined parameters.
- Manage and/or support continuous improvement projects.
- Support root cause analysis efforts.
- Oversee instrument calibration program.
- Maintain corrective and preventative action systems.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Good understanding of quality systems.
- Leadership skills required for supervision of direct reports.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge in Microsoft office.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Manufacturing degree and/or ASQ certification preferred.
- 5 years managing a certified Quality Management System.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Warehouse environment where temperature ranges based on seasonal weather
- Regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel pull and push with hands and arms reach overhead and talk or hear
- Regularly required to stand and walk
- Occasionally required to sit bend stoop kneel climb or balance
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 40 lbs.
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise dust odors fumes etc.
