Job Description
We are looking for experienced Healthcare Service Representatives to assist caregivers and clients/patients with inquiries scheduling appointments resolving issues and ensuring a seamless experience. The ideal candidate is empathetic detailoriented and able to work effectively in a fastpaced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage patient appointments by efficiently scheduling rescheduling or canceling as needed across multiple departments and providers.
- Confirm scheduled appointments and send reminders through approved communication channels to ensure patient attendance and preparedness.
- Proactively handle appointmentrelated concerns by identifying issues researching solutions and implementing timely resolutions.
- Escalate complex scheduling conflicts or patient concerns to the appropriate department while maintaining clear and timely followup.
- Accurately document all scheduling interactions and updates in the system to maintain reliable patient records and ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to align scheduling with provider availability and optimize patient flow.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and empathetic point of contact for patients delivering clear communication and support throughout the scheduling process.
Requirements
- College educated
- Candidates must provide either an NBI Clearance or Police Clearance (preferred) upon hiring
- Must be comfortable with using Hubstaff a timetracking application
- Professionallevel English (written and verbal/voice)
- Experience coordinating calendars scheduling and rescheduling
- Must be comfortable answering calls
- Healthcare background is required
- Familiarity with Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCO) and other insurance compliance regulations and policies is a big plus
- Recruitment experience is a plus but NOT required
- Healthcare software knowledge is a plus but NOT required (such as Wellsky)
- Experience using any scheduling system Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Professionallevel English (written and verbal/voice)
Hardware Requirements
- At least a 720p HD Webcam
- A noisecanceling headset
- At least a 25mbps primary internet connection
- A backup laptop backup internet connection device and backup power supply in case of power outage and emergencies
- Minimum recommendation for your main computer: Intel Core i5 or equivalent with 8 GB RAM or higher
- Minimum recommended for your backup computer: Intel Core i3 4 GB RAM
