Our Community Day Habilitation Direct Support Professionals have the opportunity of providing personcentered services to adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities all while being able to explore experience and discover what our community has to offer. Within this position primary roles and responsibilities would include providing handson assistance instruction and guidance while supporting people as they work to reach their goals and fullest potential.
Ideal Candidate(s):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid NYS drivers license reliable vehicle (expected to be used while providing Community Habilitation Services) however there is the opportunity to utilize agency vehicles.
- Has a passion for working with and creating positive impactful relationships in the lives of the people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Exhibits positive approaches that provide encouragement mentoring and instruction resulting in effectively achieving and maintaining independence and integration within the community.
