Job Description

Position Summary:

The Landscaping Crew Member will provide a variety of repairs/cleaning at the store level to include; mowing lawns weed removal parking lot cleaning parking lot striping power washing sidewalks and dumpster areas. They will assist in any general repairs to sparklers and water drip systems as well as help in general store repairs.

Essential Functions:

Landscaping Crew Member will diagnose problems and any failures to water lines so that they may be corrected.

Replace sod or rocks whenever necessary

Collaborate with maintenance team to make sure the grounds and the building are always properly cared for

Remove weeds and dead plants; prune overgrown limbs and leaves

Remove tree limbs overgrowth and other hazards

Ensure outdoor seating and lighting is maintained and good working order

Properly store and handle all equipment tools etc.

Oversee maintenance repairs to equipment landscape structures and hardscape walkways

Keep pedestrian areas removed of snow and ice and other hazards

Operate vehicles and powered equipment such as mowers tractors twinaxle vehicles snow blowers chain saws electric clippers sod cutters and pruning saws.

Qualifications/Requirements (Education/Training/Experience/Abilities):

Must be able to list up to 75lbs.

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time; bend stoop climb and reach.

Ability to work in a warm/hot and at times cold weather conditions

Must be able to work extended periods of activity

Operation of company motor vehicles

Must be able to operate power equipment

Work well with others in a team environment often sharing tasks and/or collaborating on solutions.

Ability to handle difficult and/or sensitive situations either with customers or other employees using tactful appropriate and effective communication

Ability to work 40 hours or more a week as well as weekends

Must possess strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to read/write/speak in English

Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus

Ability to read understand apply and adhere to Blakes Lotaburgers General Policies & Procedures.

Appearance must be professional neat clean and wellgroomed. Visible tattoos must be covered

Compensation: $16.00 $17.00 per hour
