What Youll Do:
As the HR Generalist you will provide broad HR support and lead projects across various HR functions. Including compliance compensation and benefits administration HRIS management recruitment and onboarding employee relations team member development performance management and other HRrelated areas.
Your Accountabilities In The Role:
- Maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for primarily salaried and office hourly positions including sourcing interviewing and coordinating onboarding.
- Partner with site HR leaders to provide support in recruiting employee relations benefits HRIS and other HR matters.
- Administer employee benefits programs including issue resolution reporting and supporting annual open enrollment.
- Act as a HRIS super user implementing and improving system modules and providing user training.
- Develop and administer HR plans policies and procedures.
- Administer performance evaluation and compensation programs.
- Maintain HR records and prepare reports to meet internal and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the HR team and employees.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Associates Degree in Business or HR preferred; may consider an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience: 3 years of progressive experience in a Hands On HR comprehensive generalisttype role within a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
- Certification(s): SHRMCP or PHR preferred or willing to obtain.
- Functional Skills: Excellent skills in researching planning prioritizing and administering activities policies and programs; Strong math analysis and data skills.
- Technology Aptitude/Skills: Strong ability with technology and systems; proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills; able to present to individuals and groups.
- Leadership/Behaviors: Assertive yet supportive personality to ensure policies are followed by all levels of the organization.
- Culture Match: Respectful of team members and policies and goals of the organization.
