Job Description
ASSYST is seeking a talented and passionate FullStack Java Developer with to support our government customer based in Austin TX. You will play a key role in building and maintaining innovative web applications and services. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle from frontend user interfaces to backend APIs and data management. This is a handson role that will provide technical direction to team members in addition to their own development tasks. A successful candidate will have handson experience programming FullStack ReactJS applications on enterprise platforms and cloudbased technologies. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders product managers and other engineers to deliver highquality scalable and maintainable solutions.
Position will be 2 days(MonTues) remote and 3days onsite at the(Austin TX). Candidates must already reside in Texas.

Required experience:
- Experience in Java/J2EE Enterprise Development (Core Java JDBC Spring Boot and Angular for example).
- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Jakarta EE.
- Experience working with databases (both relational and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB etc.
- Experience with Webbased user interface development using ReactJS.
- Demonstrable experience developing backend applications and RESTful APIs using Java.
- Experience designing enterprise applications and/or services.
- Experience creating technical and functional design documentation.
- Experience as a FullStack Developer with a strong focus on development.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of serverside rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) with React.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
- Experience in building supporting maintaining and monitoring mission critical business applications/systems running in highly distributed environments.
- Experience with Cosmos.
- Experience with Elastic Search.
