St. Mary Academy Bay View is seeking a dynamic and creative Assistant Director of Communications to support the schools efforts in advancing its mission elevating brand awareness and strengthening engagement with key constituencies. This individual will play an integral role in developing and executing marketing and communication strategies that authentically reflect Bay Views Mercy Catholic identity allgirls environment and commitment to academic excellence and to the Director of Enrollment Management & Strategic Marketing the Assistant Director will collaborate across departments to deliver compelling content and manage strategic initiatives across digital and print platforms. This position calls for a strong writer storyteller and project manager who thrives in an energetic missiondriven ResponsibilitiesCreate curate and manage content for digital and print communications including the school website social media channels newsletters brochures and event edit and proofread materials to ensure clarity consistency and alignment with the schools voice and in overseeing Bay Views social media presence by developing engaging missionaligned content and maintaining a consistent posting the management and content upkeep of the school website to ensure accuracy relevance and visual brand integrity across all communication and marketing on the design and production of marketing collateral such as the annual report admissions materials event signage and digital media relations and advertising efforts to enhance public and nurture relationships with students parents alumnae faculty staff and community partners to support storytelling and outreach in the promotion of school events admissions initiatives and development and edit photos and videos that highlight the life of the school and celebrate student a communications calendar and coordinate deadlines for marketing budget tracking and reporting for marketing and communication with the Director of Enrollment Management & Strategic Marketing on strategic planning and project in collaboration with other departments for brand assets and needs including but not limited to Admissions Academics Alumnae Relations and and SkillsOutstanding writing editing and storytelling skills tailored to various audiences and managing websites and digital content using CMS platforms (e.g. Finalsite Blackbaud).Proficiency in Canva Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop InDesign Illustrator) or similar ability to produce highquality visual content including photography and of email marketing systems and social media scheduling organized with the ability to manage multiple projects deadlines and collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.A commitment to accuracy brand consistency and highquality visual and written communications.A passion for working in a missiondriven educational and ExperienceBachelors degree in communications marketing journalism public relations or a related of five years of relevant professional experience in communications preferably in an educational or nonprofit in Catholic or independent school environments is highly valued.
