Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate for Upper Canada Forest Products you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and enhance our customer experience.
If you are passionate about making a difference impacting operations efficiencies operating as a warehouse team and ensuring our products are distributed safely this opportunity may be the right fit for you.
What you will do:
- Load unload move and stack products by hand and using a forklift.
- Prepare order for shipment ensure that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
- Handle freight and secure loads in accordance with established safety requirements.
- Tag mark or label stock items and ensure they are placed in correct storage location.
- Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Key updated inventory into the ERP system.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory to management.
- Maintain organized work area according to policies procedures and safety regulations.
What you bring to the table:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Previous counterbalance forklift experience required.
- Previous experience loading and unloading tractor trailers is required.
- Forklift license an asset but not required.
- Lumber or panel experience is an asset.
- Excellent customer service and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to lift pull and push approximately 75lbs repetitively and safely.
