The projectfocuses onthe application of genetic engineering techniquestogeneratenovel designer CHO cellsfor the production of biopharmaceuticals.
Theprojectincludes the following methods:
Standard molecular biologytechniques( PCR ddPCR)
Stateoftheart genome engineering technologies (CRISPR geneediting)
Transfection and cell culture technologiesfor the generation of stable production cell lines
Cell sorting using flow cytometry (FACS)
Smallscalebioprocessesin fedbatchformat
Proteinanalytics(producttiterglycosylationprofile)
Your qualifications
Course of Master study in biology biochemistry biotechnologyorsimilar disciplines
Basicexperiencein labwork(CHO cell culture is of advantage)
Handson experience with molecular biology techniques.
High motivation andthe ability to workindependently
Structured way of working as well as solutionoriented way of thinking
