Reports to the Department Chair for Mathematics
Job Overview Sequoyah School seeks a dynamic teacher to join the faculty. This position will work closely with members of the Mathematics Department to build a vibrant program.
Faculty position roles and responsibilities include:Qualifications Qualified candidates must have a bachelors degree and a minimum of 1 years mathematics or STEM instruction at the middle high school or college level. Successful candidates will also have the following qualifications: - Have a bachelors degree in mathematics or STEMrelated subject masters prefered
- Have experience teaching mathematics or STEMrelated subjects
- Professional experience in progressive models of education and curricula preferred
- Are passionate about projectbased studentcentered pedagogyand experiential learning
- Have experience with or have an interest in changemaking and servicelearning
- Are interested in the collaborative work of faculty including curriculum planning
