Job Description
Trade Compliance Import & Export Specialist is responsible for arranging daily import & export
transactions with adhere to company & country policies to plan & implement all the strategies
according to supplier & customer demands & administer movement of all goods & ensure compliance to
all government regulation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  •  Manage daily Imports (permanent regime) & Exports (virtual & direct) activities such as CFDIs invoices letters of instructions to custom brokers traceability of import & export paperwork for direct shipments (BOL / PL) & company policies /government regulation.
  • Making sure that all these imports & export activities are in agreement with the accepted rules and regulations of the organization.
  • Scrutiny of Shipping Documents.
  • Dealing with Day to Day Customs issues via advising through customs broker.
  • Verification of custom duties & sending Pay order request to Finance.
  • Design Export/Import solutions that lead to achieve operational savings. (Fees and consolidated operations to lead paperless foreign trade operations.
  • USMCA rules & certificates of origin. Qualification process as to the finished goods.
  • IMMEX strong knowledge. Working along with Foreign Trade coordinator to automate in and out that information going into Annex 24.
  • HTS classification intake for Mexico & USA. Working with GTM US to import into the USA the finished goods.
  • Virtual export Pedimentos / transferring of raw material and finished goods under rule 5.2.4 & 5.2.5 this task demands at least 10 days a month from the start to the end process in order to consolidate the abroad sales under the virtual scenario.
  • Pedimentos F4s and F5s to change status of temporal imports and meet the deadline requirements.
  • Checking all relevant invoices & providing to finance.

    •  Must be high energy service oriented teamoriented and results focused.
    • Ability to lead improvement teams and projects
    • Ability to interact with various departments (accounting sales customer service etc.).
    • Ability to work cooperatively with others.
    • Ability to coordinate several tasks concurrently.
    • Ability to field emergency calls outside of typical working hours as needed.
    • Demonstrated analytical skills.

    Education

    • College degree required / Foreign Trade desired or related to.
    • English fluent speaking and writing.
    • Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
    • Minimum experience of 4 years.
