Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Utility & Plant Maintenance Engineer to support the reliable and efficient operation of our CAN manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for overseeing all electrical utility systems, ensuring equipment reliability, managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and supporting plant-wide electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and maintain electrical utility systems including HT/LT panels, transformers, generators, UPS, compressors, and plant lighting.
Manage maintenance activities for all plant electrical equipment and infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies using CMMS tools.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and ensure timely corrective actions.
Monitor and optimize electrical energy usage and implement energy-saving initiatives.
Coordinate with operations, production, and utility teams for electrical support during machine installations, upgrades, and shutdowns.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory electrical inspections, and environmental guidelines.
Maintain updated documentation, such as electrical drawings, SOPs, service records, and equipment manuals.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers for spare parts, AMC, and technical support.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. / ).
4 6 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a high-speed manufacturing or packaging plant.
Strong understanding of electrical utility systems, HT/LT distribution, PLC systems, and automation.
Proficient in troubleshooting electrical faults, energy management, and working with CMMS systems.
Knowledge of ISO standards, EHS protocols, and statutory compliance related to electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in CAN or metal packaging industry.
Exposure to TPM, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma tools.
Certification in electrical safety or energy auditing (optional but preferred).

Working Conditions:
Shift-based work with on-call availability during emergencies. May involve supervision of contract staff and coordination with cross-functional teams.
