Job Description
Job Summary
Synechron is seeking talented GenAI Engineers to join our team for a 23 month project focused on automating quarterly planning through advanced generative AI solutions. This role involves developing a prototype using a business orchestration layer with builtin business logic leveraging Atlassian agents and copilots. Our team including experienced data scientists aims to demonstrate this prototype in June.
Software Requirements
Required Software Skills:
- Proficiency in cloudnative solutions on AWS including CloudFormation and AWS services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Strong programming skills in Python and FastAPI.
- Familiarity with bash scripting and DocumentDB.
Preferred Software Skills:
- Knowledge of generative AI frameworks and tools such as Agentic Frameworks Langchain and Semantic Kernel.
- Experience with Vector Graph and SQL Databases.
Overall Responsibilities
- Develop a backend and frontend UI for a prototype that automates business planning using generative AI.
- Apply architectural patterns and microservices architecture in solution deployment and integration.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including data scientists to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Stay current with industry trends and integrate new technologies into the solution.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
- Required: Python
- Preferred: Familiarity with other scripting languages such as JavaScript for frontend development.
Databases/Data Management:
- Essential: Experience with DocumentDB and other NoSQL databases.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Vector and Graph databases.
Cloud Technologies:
- Essential: AWS cloud services and CloudFormation.
Frameworks and Libraries:
- Essential: FastAPI for backend development.
- Preferred: Generative AI tools and frameworks like Langchain.
Development Tools and Methodologies:
- Required: CI/CD pipelines GitHub Actions Agile methodologies.
Experience Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on cloudnative and generative AI technologies.
- Proven experience with software development methodologies and tools such as Agile and Scrum.
- Experience in developing solutions with crossfunctional teams including participation in code reviews.
DaytoDay Activities
- Participate in daily standup meetings and project planning sessions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Write test and deploy software solutions ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Stay updated on latest technology trends and incorporate them into solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Professional certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
