Key Account Manager - Distribution

General Responsibilities:

• Manage the frontend activities for distribution sales representatives.
• Engage with teams in the US and Canada.
• Coordinate efforts with multiple departments.
• Leverage the CRM system for reporting functions.

Challenges

• Proactive alignment with global counterparts regarding customers strategies contracts and pricing
• Negotiate prices rebates contracts directly
• Maintaining bestinclass communication channels with customers
• Ensure sales call reporting
• Management of conflict situations (complaints prevent escalation)

What we look for in you

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in businessrelated field required
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing sales/account management required
• Strong customer interaction
• Strong commercial/business acumen
• In depth knowledge of engineering plastics customers products and/or applications preferred
• Expertise in plastics in the automotive industry a plus
• Balance of commercial and technical knowhow skills and experience
• CRM experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong team building and team playing capabilities must have demonstrated excellent relationship building negotiation and influencing skills
