The Rotating Components Design Engineer responsibility is to execute assigned projects and demonstrate accountability in communicating business goals programs and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will learn and apply your experience or expertise to solve problems develop and execute objectives for self and others and could affect shortterm business goals.
In particular you will be responsible for development of rotating components technology for future engine products.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Execute the design analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards practices procedures and product / program requirements.
Develop action plans to respond to issues/ problems.
Participate or lead on teams assigned to address specific mechanical design challenges.
Expanding knowledge and apply learnings to daily work on assigned projects.
Participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews.
Consulting assigned tasks with technical experts to ensure the best outcome.
Seeking for improvements based on legacy engines experience.
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned project and/or tasks consistent with engineering polices and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering Physics or Materials.
Industry or academical experience in design of turbomachinery components including applicable engineering tools and systems.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing methods of turbomachinery components.
Good level of English skills (written and spoken).
Desired Characteristics
Strong communication skills.
Ability to contributes to team work as a team member.
Effective problem identification and solving skills.
Experience in turbomachinery components design and jet engine systems design.
Preliminary design and rough mechanical components sizing based on the basic engineering principles.
