Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Hiring and Training:Recruiting hiring and training new service technicians.
- Scheduling and Assignment:Creating work schedules assigning tasks to technicians and ensuring work is distributed fairly.
- Performance Management:Conducting performance reviews providing feedback and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Motivation and Teamwork:Motivating the team fostering a positive work environment and encouraging collaboration.
Technical and Operational Management:- Technical Support:Providing technical assistance to technicians when needed
Quality Control:Inspecting work in progress and finished repairs to ensure quality standards are met. - Inventory Management:Maintaining adequate inventory of parts and supplies working with the owner or general manager to order as needed.
- Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate records of work performed including repair orders and customer information.
Customer Relations and Compliance:- Customer Communication:Handling customer inquiries addressing complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Regulatory Compliance:Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
- Warranty Management:Overseeing warranty procedures and ensuring compliance with manufacturer guideline
Qualifications:
- ASE certifications are required
- Strong automotive background in General Motors
- Strong teamwork skills
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
- Must have clean & valid drivers license
