John Mulhall came to Omaha in 1953 to landscape and now three generations later were as committed as weve ever been to making Omaha a more beautiful place to live. A DAY IN THE LIFE
As the Greenhouse Lead Herbs Vegetables youll report to our Greenhouse Manager and help manage the daily tasks projects and processes that keep the entire Greenhouse looking its best. Youll be responsible for helping customers find the perfect plants championing the importance of defined processes and jumping in where needed to complete daily tasks and projects. During our peak season youll be responsible for managing the flow of herb and vegetable deliveries from the receiving dock to the applicable backstock area as well as keeping the salesfloor fresh and full of product all in line with our vision to be the most loved plant shop in the country.
YOUR IMPACT
o Welcome customers and assist them in finding the plant or solution they need actively contributing to our Store experience
o Make yourself a goto person and a champion of training followup and delegation of tasks for the whole Greenhouse and your focus area
o Minimize plant death through FirstInFirstOut replenishment and the herb vegetable replenishment process to fill from backstock
o Support the Pro Customer by actively participating in our Pro Pick process
o Partner with the Greenhouse Manager to ensure the entire Greenhouse watering and downstacking teams are staffed and supported
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
o A belief in and passion for our purpose beautifying our community
o 2 years of retail experience preferred
o Bilingual in Spanish and English required
o The ability to manage multiple competing priorities with a consistently positive response to pressure
o A supportive team player who anticipates problems and works collaboratively to solve them
